Calculate your PIR
Use these simple steps to find your Prescribed Investor Rate (PIR) - it'll only take a minute.
If you are a current member of a Britannia Scheme it's important to let us know your correct PIR. This allows us to calculate how much tax we need to pay on your behalf on your investment income from your Britannia Scheme (a Portfolio Investment Entity or PIE). Generally, your PIR is lower than your personal tax rate.
Before you start, you'll need to know what your income was over the last two tax years (including income from PIE investments). If you are unsure of your income we recommend you contact your employer(s), your accountant, or Inland Revenue.
