Sale of Russian investments
Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is a tragedy that is unfolding in front of the world. NZBritannia’s Environmental, Social and Governance policy addresses a wide range of concerns, including human rights abuses and Russia’s actions in the Ukraine do not fit with NZBritannia’s values.
NZBritannia indirectly held a small number of immaterial investments in some Russian companies. These investments are either already sold or are being divested.
We expect that world markets will remain volatile for a while, and this will result in the value of your investment rising and falling more quickly than usual. It is normal if you find this discomforting, so we recommend that you get in contact with your financial adviser to discuss your concerns. Remember that it is your ability to remain disciplined during difficult times that will allow you to reach your long-term goals.
If you have any questions or concerns about your investment get in touch with your financial adviser today.
